What materials do you use?
Fimo, Sculpey and Cernit clay, they are type of polymer clay. You basically bake them in a normal kitchen oven for them to get hard. I get my clay from a regular art&crafts store here in Finland. I use acrylics to paint the eyes or other random parts of the sculpture. The clay I use is already that color so if you scratch it, it still is the same color inside as it is outside. I sometimes partially glaze the sculptures. The glaze I use is designed especially for Fimo clay.


Where do you get keychain/ring etc. bases?
Again from a regular arts'n crafts store.


How long does it take to make a sculpture?
Depends on the size and details, do I have to use paint or glue etc. Anything from 15 minutes to one hour or even more.


Where did you learn to make sculptures?
I have made pottery for 8 years at a youth local hobby center. We also made silver jewelry and other wonderful things. Working with normal clay has thought me so much. After I found about polymer clay and tried it I fell in love with it. With clay I usually made BIG things but with polymer clay my usual sculptures are the size of a nickle. It was difficult at first but I am a fast learner.

Some sculptures in my gallery I like to keep to myself. If you want a specific sculpture then I could possibly make a replica of it. Of course it wouldn't be a perfect copy but close. BUT it never hurts to ask
